Volleyball Recap: Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Victorious

The Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Lions earned a 3-1 victory over the Sabino Sabercats on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Pusch Ridge Christian Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 14-25, 25-21, 25-23, 25-23.

Jonathan Ranck paced Pusch Ridge Christian Academy's offense, picking up five kills. Ranck got some help from Patrick Coyle and his eight assists.

Pusch Ridge Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Sabino, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Looking ahead, Pusch Ridge Christian Academy will venture away from home to face off against St. Augustine Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on the 3rd. The Lions are facing the Wolves at the right time seeing as the Wolves are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Sabino, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against McClintock on the 28th.
