Volleyball Game Preview: Wallowa Cougars vs. Dayville/Monument/Long Creek Tigers

After both having extra time off, the Wallowa Cougars and the Dayville/Monument/Long Creek Tigers will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Wallowa is looking for their season's first win.

Wallowa lost 3-0 to Pine Eagle on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Dayville/Monument/Long Creek came up short against Pilot Rock on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Tigers have struggled against the Rockets recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Wallowa's defeat dropped their record down to 0-21. As for Dayville/Monument/Long Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 0-13.

Wallowa was able to grind out a solid victory over Dayville/Monument/Long Creek in their previous meeting back in September of 2023, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
