Lebanon and Aurora pushed the score to 12-10 the last time they played Aurora, but on Monday defenses reigned supreme. The Yellowjackets had just enough and edged out the Houn Dawgs 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Yellowjackets have posted since March 26th.

The win made it two in a row for Lebanon and bumps their season record up to 5-11. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Aurora, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lebanon will face off against Central at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Aurora, they will challenge McDonald County at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
