Volleyball Game Preview: Mohawk Mustangs vs. McKenzie Eagles + How To Watch

Mohawk has gone 8-2 against McKenzie recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Mustangs will take on the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

Mohawk won the last time they faced Eddyville and Bellece Bendix did her part to make sure it happened again. The Mustangs were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles on Thursday for which the team can thank Bendix, who had 17 digs and five aces. She has been hot for a while, having posted two or more aces the last 12 times she's played.

While Mohawk won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-13, 26-24.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for McKenzie, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past Mannahouse Christian Academy 3-0 on Thursday. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Eagles yet this season.

Mohawk is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. As for McKenzie, their win bumped their record up to 3-7.

Mohawk took their victory against McKenzie in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
