Twin Valley had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They came out on top against the Daniel Boone Blazers by a score of 6-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-1 back in March.

Nate Lord was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Lord was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Lord wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Kooper Zdimal, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double. That's the most runs Zdimal has posted since back in March. Another was Nate DiRocco, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Twin Valley's record now sits at 11-5. As for Daniel Boone, they dropped their record down to 6-12 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Twin Valley will welcome Penn Manor at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Daniel Boone, they will head out to take on Governor Mifflin at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Mustangs' pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so the Blazers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
