Football Recap: Gregori Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Gregori played a tough match on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Livermore Cowboys 43-7. The Jaguars were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.

Special teams was responsible for all of the team's points. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Noah Wegner, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Even if they lost, Gregori's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Eli Struck, Daniel Perales, and Liam Garguile, who each picked up one sack apiece.

The critical scores for Livermore came from CT Harper, Matteo Lortie, Jack (John) Hepner, Shane Patterson, AJ Carey, and Luke Mederos.

Gregori is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3. As for Livermore, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gregori will host Los Banos at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last. As for Livermore, they will be playing at home against Arroyo at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
