Volleyball Recap: Willow Beats Eleanor Mcmain for Their Third Straight Win

Willow waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Eleanor McMain Mustangs with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Willow was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-11, 25-15.

Makayla Celestain paced Willow's offense, picking up six kills. Celestain also shared the team's lead in assists with Haviva A: they picked up ten each. Alana Stevenson controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

Willow's win bumped their record up to 17-8. As for Eleanor McMain, they dropped their record down to 9-23 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home.

Looking ahead, Willow will venture away from home to square off against St. James at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Eleanor McMain does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
