Baseball Game Preview: Cullman Bearcats vs. Vestavia Hills Rebels

The Cullman Bearcats will take on the Vestavia Hills Rebels at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cullman will be strutting in after a victory while Vestavia Hills will be coming in after a loss.

Cullman took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against Bob Jones, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Cullman came out on top in a nail-biter against Bob Jones on Friday, sneaking past 2-1. That's two games straight that the Bearcats have won by just one run.

Meanwhile, Vestavia Hills unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of Madison Academy.

The win made it two in a row for Cullman and bumps their season record up to 4-2. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for Vestavia Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
