Baseball Recap: Kermit Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Kermit and Denver City squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Kermit had to settle for second. They lost 10-0 to the Mustangs. The Yellow Jackets haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Kermit's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Denver City, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-6.

While Kermit had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
