Baseball Recap: Morse Comes Up Short

Morse's last matchup with Clairemont could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Monday. The Tigers lost 16-3 to the Chieftains. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Chieftains: they've now lost six in a row.

Morse saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Marcus Westover, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Morse's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11-1. As for Clairemont, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Chieftains beat Morse by a score of 11-1 on Tuesday.
