Hickory came into Tuesday's matchup looking for another win against Sharon, but Emmalie Yobe wouldn't allow it. The Tigers blew past the Hornets 3-0 on Tuesday thanks in part to Yobe, who had 18 digs and three aces. Yobe is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 14 every time she's taken the court this season.

The win didn't come easy: Hickory scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 26-24, 25-23.

Sharon's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alauna Wilson, who had 20 digs, five kills, and two aces. Another player making a difference was Addie McFann, who had 15 digs and three aces.

Sharon has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5-1 record this season. As for Hickory, they moved to 10-5 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Looking ahead, Sharon will be playing at home against Kennedy Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hickory does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
