West Tallahatchie skates past West Bolivar with ease

The West Tallahatchie Choctaws scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They breezed by West Bolivar at home to the tune of 45-17. That 28 points margin sets a new team best for West Tallahatchie this season.

West Tallahatchie can attribute much of their success to Mi'Kenzi Christian, who scored 17 points. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Christian has scored at least a third of West Tallahatchie's points. Another player making a difference was Khanaisia Harris, who scored ten points.

The victory was the third in a row for West Tallahatchie, bringing their record for this year to 9-9. As for West Bolivar, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-16.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Tallahatchie will take on South Delta at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for West Bolivar, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Leland at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Leland is no doubt hoping to put an end to an 11-game streak of away losses.
