Basketball Recap: Belt Takes a Loss

Belt was the 50-46 winner over Fairfield when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Belt Huskies took a 45-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fairfield Eagles. The matchup marked the Huskies' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Belt's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Fairfield, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Belt will challenge Cascade at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fairfield, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Chinook on Friday. One thing working in Chinook's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
