Football Recap: Barron Collier Starts Season with Defeat on the Road + How To Watch

Barron Collier kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a blow against the Immokalee Indians, falling 45-0. If the Cougars were looking for revenge after losing 59-28 to the Indians when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

A big part of Immokalee's victory came down to the chemistry between Chris Germinal and his top target Marshon Jackson. Germinal threw for 145 yards and a pair of TDs while Jackson gained 113 total yards and three touchdowns. Jeremiah Bailey was in the mix too, providing Immokalee with one score.

Coincidentally, Barron Collier and Immokalee will both be playing Naples the next time they take the field. The Cougars will host the Golden Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Indians will host them at 7:30 p.m. on September 5.
