Softball Recap: New Hope Comes Up Short

New Hope and Plainview squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but New Hope had to settle for second. They came up short against the Bears, falling 9-0. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Indians' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

New Hope's defeat dropped their record down to 17-25-2. As for Plainview, the win (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 33-6-1.

New Hope wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 12-8 victory against Kate Duncan Smith DAR on the 26th. As for Plainview, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-9 loss against Madison County on the 28th.
