Football Recap: Dansville Aggies vs. Saranac Redhawks
Dansville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 54-6 loss at the hands of the Saranac Redhawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Aggies of the 40-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
Dansville wouldn't let Saranac keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force four fumbles. It was truly a group effort as Kane Romano, Mayson Burgett, and Quinnton Burgett picked up one apiece. Romano is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
Dansville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Saranac, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Dansville will challenge Pewamo-Westphalia on Friday. Pewamo-Westphalia will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Dansville surely won't give up without a fight. As for Saranac, they will square off against Perry at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Perry focused on turnovers this week as team gave up five on Friday.
