Football Recap: Maranacook Comes Up Short

If Maranacook was riding high fresh off their 56-34 takedown of Belfast last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Black Bears took a 21-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Madison Bulldogs on Friday.

Maranacook's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Madison, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Coming up, Maranacook will take on John Bapst Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Madison, they will challenge Dirigo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
