Soccer Game Preview: Bourgade Catholic vs. Benjamin Franklin

The Bourgade Catholic Golden Eagles will square off against the Benjamin Franklin Chargers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Bourgade Catholic is headed into Tuesday's contest hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They fell 3-1 to Valley Christian on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that the Golden Eagles have lost by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, Benjamin Franklin entered their tilt with Globe on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 9-1 victory. With the Chargers ahead 5-1 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Their offense was hitting Globe from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Logan McBride led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Bourgade Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Benjamin Franklin, their win bumped their record up to 8-5-1.
