Faith Academy waltzed into their match on Thursday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lutheran Mustangs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-14, 25-19.

Ella Claiborne paced Faith Academy's offense, picking up 16 kills. Claiborne got some help from Olivia Kraenzel and her 18 assists. Bosley Kuker controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Faith Academy's win bumped their record up to 23-6. As for Lutheran, their defeat was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-14.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Faith Academy will face off against rival Live Oak Classical at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lutheran is set to take on their familiar foe Central Texas Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
