Athens is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They enjoyed a cozy 66-51 victory over River Valley on Friday.

Meanwhile, Vinton County came up short against Logan on Saturday and fell 66-56. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Vinton County's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Athens, their win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-2.
