Recap: Legend Titans vs. Rock Canyon Jaguars
The Legend Titans stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They blew past Rock Canyon 62-38. The victory was familiar territory for Legend who now have three in a row.
It was another big night for Maley Wilhelm, who scored 18 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. Wilhelm is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Cook, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and two blocks.
Rock Canyon lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Emily Feiman, who scored nine points along with five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Sienna Pillsbury, who scored 12 points.
Legend's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-1. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 39.33 points. As for Rock Canyon, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-4.
Legend will head out on the road to face off against Chaparral at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Chaparral will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Rock Canyon, they will be playing at home against ThunderRidge at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. ThunderRidge has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
