Softball Recap: Cherry Hill West Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Cherry Hill West's offense. They lost 13-0 to the Paul VI Eagles on Monday. The Lions just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Laylah Gomez made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases.

Cherry Hill West's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Paul VI, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Cherry Hill West will challenge Middle Township at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Paul VI, they will take on Moorestown at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
