Football Game Preview: Raton Tigers vs. St. Michael's Horsemen + How To Watch

The Raton Tigers will head out on the road to challenge the St. Michael's Horsemen at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

It was a proper cat-fight when Raton challenged Robertson on Friday. The Tigers lost 24-0 to the Cardinals. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Cardinals: they've now lost three in a row.

Raton might have lost, but man, Cael Walton was a machine: he rushed for 171 yards while picking up 9.0 yards per carry, and also picked up 52 receiving yards. Walton showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 66 yards.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for St. Michael's against Eunice on Saturday as the squad secured a 47-8 victory. Fans of the Horsemen have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Raton's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for St. Michael's, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.

Raton was taken down by St. Michael's 40-7 in their previous matchup back in September of 2024. Thankfully for the Tigers, Soren Annon (who rushed for 166 yards and three scores on only seven carries, and also picked up 46 receiving yards and one touchdown) won't be suiting up this time.
