Football Game Preview: Reading Rangers vs. Union City Chargers + Official Tickets

The Reading Rangers are taking a road trip to take on the Union City Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Reading will be strutting in after a victory while Union City will be coming in after a defeat.

Reading took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They walked away with a 24-16 win over Quincy.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Union City's offense. They were beaten by White Pigeon 36-0 on Friday. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Chargers were not able to get on the board.

Reading is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-3 record this season. As for Union City, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

Reading was taken down by Union City 38-8 when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Can the Rangers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
