Baseball Recap: Kutztown Takes a Loss

Kutztown and Governor Mifflin squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Kutztown had to settle for second. They came up short against the Mustangs, falling 10-2. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Cougars, who until this match were averaging 3.15 runs allowed.

Kutztown's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Governor Mifflin, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 20-1.

Kutztown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Governor Mifflin, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Palmyra at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cougars will roll in looking for their 20th straight win, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight.
