Volleyball Game Preview: Clyde Fliers vs. Oak Harbor Rockets

Clyde hasn't had much luck against Oak Harbor recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:30 p.m.

Clyde had taken Perkins down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. The Fliers fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 3-2.

Meanwhile, Oak Harbor beat Maumee 3-1 on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Rockets in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won five in a row.

The final score came out to 25-17, 23-25, 25-15, 25-15.

Oak Harbor's win bumped their record up to 18-4. As for Clyde, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-15.

Clyde came up short against Oak Harbor in their previous matchup back in August, falling 2-0. Can the Fliers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
