Soccer Recap: Culver Community Comes Up Short

Culver Community was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Caston Comets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Culver Community of the 8-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Their goal came courtesy of Johnny Villegas, who's now up to five this season.

Culver Community's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Caston, their victory bumped their record up to 3-7-1.

Looking ahead, Culver Community will head out to square off against Tippecanoe Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Culver Community will be up against Tippecanoe Valley's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.42 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Caston, they will face off against Oregon-Davis at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
