Softball Game Preview: McDonell Central Macks vs. Cameron Comets

The McDonell Central Macks will head out on the road to square off against the Cameron Comets at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. McDonell Central's pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so Cameron's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Things were looking good for McDonell Central after they put the first run on the board on Thursday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of Stanley-Boyd. The Macks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Cameron also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Spooner by a score of 4-1. The matchup marked the Comets' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Emerson Krahenbuhl spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and three unearned) runs on nine hits.

Cameron's loss dropped their record down to 14-8-1. As for McDonell Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-6-1.
