Soccer Recap: Alcovy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Eagle's Landing last Thursday, Alcovy came back down to earth. The Tigers came up short against the Winder-Barrow Bulldoggs on Friday, falling 4-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Alcovy of the 6-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2025.

Alcovy now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Winder-Barrow, with the win, they broke their ten-match losing streak and moved their record to 3-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Alcovy will square off against Loganville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Loganville's last five matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Winder-Barrow, they will face off against Bethlehem Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
