Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lakeview Academy walked away with it. They walked away with a 60-52 win over the Bethlehem Christian Academy Knights on Thursday. The Lions are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 12 straight.

Bethlehem Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Adian Grady, who posted 16 points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Colin Oates was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and 11 boards.

Lakeview Academy's victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.8 points over those games. As for Bethlehem Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 11-13 record this season.

Looking ahead, Lakeview Academy and Athens Christian will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played. Lakeview Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 15 games -- so hopefully Athens Christian likes a good challenge. Bethlehem Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
