Basketball Recap: Clayton Comes Up Short

Clayton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a hard 45-31 fall against the Bennington Bears. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bears from their previous meeting back in November of 2023.

Clayton's record is now 5-10. As for Bennington, their win bumped their record up to 11-5.

Clayton will take on Eagletown at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Eagletown knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Clayton likes a good challenge. As for Bennington, they will face off against Rock Creek at 8:00 p.m. on January 28th.
