The Puckett Wolves will head out on the road to take on the Raleigh Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Puckett is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
On Tuesday, Puckett never let their opponents score. They blew past Raleigh 10-0. The win was just what Puckett needed coming off of a 12-0 loss in their prior contest.
Blake Taylor was incredible, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Eli Rankin, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
Puckett now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Raleigh, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.
