Basketball Game Preview: McKinney Boyd Broncos vs. Allen Eagles

McKinney Boyd is 0-10 against Allen since January of 2019 but things could change on Friday. The McKinney Boyd Broncos will head out to take on the Allen Eagles at 7:00 p.m.

McKinney Boyd is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against McKinney on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. McKinney Boyd came up short against McKinney, falling 67-46. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Broncos have suffered against the Lions since February 5, 2022.

Meanwhile, Allen had already won 17 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.6 points) and they went ahead and made it 18 on Tuesday. They blew past the Eagles 98-63. Allen has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 games by 21 points or more this season.

Allen's win was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 26-1. As for McKinney Boyd, their loss dropped their record down to 13-16.

McKinney Boyd ended up a good deal behind Allen in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, losing 67-49. Can McKinney Boyd avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
