Volleyball Recap: Greenville Takes a Loss

Greenville lost against Ionia back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Yellow Jackets fell 2-0 to the Bulldogs.

Greenville was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-23.

Greenville's loss dropped their record down to 15-11-1. As for Ionia, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-4 record this season.

Greenville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Lowell on the 14th. As for Ionia, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Lakewood on the 14th.
