The North Branch Vikings and the Chisago Lakes Area Wildcats will compete for holiday cheer at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 11 consecutive losses dating back to last season for North Branch and seven for Chisago Lakes Area dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, Chisago Lakes Area unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against Becker last Tuesday, falling 71-51.

North Branch's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Chisago Lakes Area, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
