Catalina was the 3-0 winner over Cholla when they last played one another on December 11th, but their luck changed this time around. The Catalina Trojans fell 3-1 to the Cholla Chargers on Saturday. The Trojans' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Catalina's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Cholla, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-8.

Catalina will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Safford at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Cholla, they will take on Tucson High Magnet School in a tournament on Thursday.
