Baseball Recap: Annapolis Comes Up Short

The Annapolis Panthers came up short against the West Deptford Eagles on Saturday and fell 6-2.

Annapolis saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Malachi Quinn, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. Quinn is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. John Claxton also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Annapolis' defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for West Deptford, their record is now 5-3.

Looking ahead, Annapolis will host Northeast at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Deptford, they will head out on the road to take on Gloucester City at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
