Baseball Preview: Shawnee Indians vs. Memorial Roughriders        
        
		
            
 The Shawnee Indians will be staying on the road  on Friday to face off against the Memorial Roughriders at 5:30  p.m. Shawnee will be strutting in after a  victory while Memorial will be coming in after a  defeat.
 On Thursday, Shawnee earned  a  7-4 win over Bath.
  Lucas Price spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four  runs (all of which were unearned)  on seven hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Derek Lyons was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and a  stolen base. Another player making a difference was  Noah Neth, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, Memorial fell victim to a  rough 12-2 loss at the hands of Van Wert  on Wednesday. The  defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Memorial in their matchups with Van Wert: they've now lost four in a row.
 The  victory  got Shawnee back to even at 7-7. As for Memorial, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.
 Shawnee beat Memorial 3-0  in their previous matchup  back in April of 2022. Will Shawnee repeat their success,  or does  Memorial have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
