Volleyball Recap: St. Patrick Comes Up Short

St. Patrick lost against Gulfport back in August of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Fighting Irish took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Admirals. The Fighting Irish have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Patrick may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 19 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-19.

St. Patrick's defeat dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Gulfport, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-9.

St. Patrick has already played their next match (against Bay), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Gulfport, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Hancock on the 6th.
