Football Recap: Lenoir City Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Lenoir City needed a changed in momentum after dropping eight straight games and they got it from Trea Jones. The Panthers came out on top against the Soddy Daisy Trojans by a score of 32-25 on Thursday with plenty of help from Jones, who rushed for 150 yards and three TDs while picking up 7.9 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 78-yard run.

Lenoir City's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 2-8. As for Soddy Daisy, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-6.

As of now, neither Lenoir City nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
