The final score came out to 25-13, 23-25, 25-21, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Wawasee came up short against Mishawaka on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Cavemen recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

While Wawasee was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Mishawaka's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-14, 25-17.

Wawasee's defeat dropped their record down to 4-22. As for Culver Academies, their win bumped their record up to 14-4.

Culver Academies came out on top in a nail-biter against Wawasee in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
