Basketball Game Preview: Haralson County Rebels vs. Bowdon Red Devils

The Haralson County Rebels will head out to square off against the Bowdon Red Devils at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Haralson County lost 56-33 to Model on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Rebels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 445th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 83rd).

Meanwhile, Bowdon waltzed into their match on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Cavaliers by a score of 60-53.

Bowdon's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-8. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.3 points per game. As for Haralson County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season.

Haralson County came up short against Bowdon in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, falling 40-36. Can Haralson County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
