Soccer Recap: Hunter Takes a Loss

Hunter managed to keep up with Ridgeline until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Hunter came up short against Ridgeline, falling 3-0. That's two games in a row now that Hunter have lost by exactly three goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Hunter and nudges their season record down to 2-6. As for Ridgeline, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Hunter will take on Juan Diego Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hunter will be up against Juan Diego Catholic's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.7 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Ridgeline, they will challenge Bear River at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ridgeline is facing Bear River at the right time seeing as Bear River is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
