Cy-Fair is 9-1 against Stratford since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Cy-Fair Bobcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Stratford Spartans at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Cy-Fair is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Memorial get on the board and left with a 13-0 win on Tuesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bobcats considering their two-run performance the match before.

Meanwhile, Stratford entered their tilt with Jersey Village on Tuesday with four consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with five. They put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 17-5 victory. Considering the Spartans have won four games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Layla Yslas was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and four RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. Allison Hibbetts was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI.

Stratford always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .538. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Jersey Village only posted an OBP of .333.

Stratford's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Cy-Fair, their victory bumped their record up to 10-5.

Cy-Fair beat Stratford 5-0 when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Will Cy-Fair repeat their success, or does Stratford have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
