Volleyball Recap: St. Bede Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for St. Bede, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lowpoint-Washburn Wildcats on Thursday, sneaking past 2-1. The Bruins haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

St. Bede had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-22, 25-13.

St. Bede's win bumped their record up to 13-8-1. As for Lowpoint-Washburn, their loss dropped their record down to 9-11.

Looking ahead, St. Bede will be playing in front of their home fans against Yorkville Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lowpoint-Washburn, they will venture away from home to challenge Roanoke-Benson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
