It's playoff time, and Cartersville had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past Drew 3-0 on Tuesday. The win was nothing new for the Hurricanes as they're now sitting on 14 straight.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Cartersville was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-4, 25-14.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cartersville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Emma Wall, who had 14 assists and four aces. Wall is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Sydney Seigler, who had five aces and three digs.

They weren't the only good servers: Cartersville was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in four consecutive contests.

Cartersville's victory bumped their record up to 42-6. As for Drew, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-9.

Looking ahead, Cartersville will face off against Wayne County at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Drew does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
