Littleton had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Bear Creek on Wednesday. The Lions blew past the Bears 3-0. The win was nothing new for the Lions as they're now sitting on five straight.

Littleton was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 29-27, 25-7.

Leading Littleton to victory were Naomi Peables and Olivia Kohler. Peables had seven aces and five digs, while Kohler had three digs and two aces. Those seven aces gave Peables a new career-high.

They weren't the only good servers: Littleton was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in three consecutive matches.

Despite the defeat, Bear Creek saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Miley Gutierrez had 12 digs and two aces.

Littleton's record is now 6-3. As for Bear Creek, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Littleton has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Regis Groff on the 27th. Bear Creek has also already played their next matchup (against Westminster), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
