 Hopkins can now show off 14 landslide victories after their most recent  contest  on Friday. They blew past the Forest Hills Central Rangers 14-1. Winning may never get old, but Hopkins sure is getting used to it with their eighth in a row.
  Hannah Brinks made a splash no matter where she played. She  struck out 13 batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned run off   five  hits. Brinks has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive pitching appearances. Brinks was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with three  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Lyla Reynolds was a standout: she scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Cami Hibma, who  went 2-for-2 with a  home run, three  runs,  and two  RBI.
 Hopkins is  on a roll lately: they've  won 12 of their last 13 matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record  this season. As for Forest Hills Central, they  haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-16.
