Baseball Recap: Klein Comes Up Short

Klein's last matchup with Magnolia West could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Tuesday. The Bearkats lost 10-0 to the Mustangs. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Bearkats, who until this game were averaging 4.04 runs allowed.

Klein dropped their record down to 7-14-2 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the losses came by an average of only four runs. As for Magnolia West, their victory bumped their record up to 11-3.

Coincidentally, Klein and Magnolia West will both be playing Klein Oak the next time they take the field. The Mustangs will host the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Bearkats will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th.
