Basketball Recap: Simsboro Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Simsboro can now relate to. They fell 71-64 to the Lacassine Cardinals on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 116th, while the Cardinals are ranked 28th).

Simsboro's loss dropped their record down to 21-11. As for Lacassine, the victory was the 30th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 36-2.

Simsboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lacassine has already played their next contest (against Choudrant), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
